A mountain hut in the middle of the Schmittenhöhe skiing region

Skiing & snowboarding in Zell am See-Kaprun

The region in and around Zell am See is a paradise for skiers and snowboarders. In addition to the “Schmittenhöhe” ski area directly in Zell am See, many other ski areas of all levels of difficulty await you in the region.
Strap on your skis and immerse yourself in the dreamy slopes of the Schmittenhöhe, not far from the Pinzgauer Hütte. An overnight stay in our hut offers a special experience. Wake up in the middle of the Schmittenhöhe ski area and make your first turns on freshly groomed slopes.

But other winter sports enthusiasts also get their money’s worth here. You can go cross-country skiing, ice skating, curling, snowshoeing, winter hiking and much more in the region.
If you are looking for more peace and quiet and want to relax, go on a winter hike on the Schmittenhöhe or in the valley around Lake Zell. Enjoy a horse-drawn sleigh ride or relax in the indoor pool or the TauernSpa Kaprun thermal baths.

You can enjoy all of this from the Pinzgauer Hütte. And in the evening you can review the day of your holiday with a good meal and a suitable drink – the perfect holiday!
